The Quaker Lace Company (founded in 1889) was the premier name in American machine-made lace until it closed in the early 1990s. Today, these pieces are highly sought after by vintage enthusiasts for their "old-world charm" and exceptional quality that is difficult to find in modern mass-produced linens.
